WOAHH! I ABSOUTLY LOVEE OWL CITY!! I bought the whole "Ocean Eyes" album and i love it. This band is really awesome!! Their songs are like a lullaby! Like pop meets techno. It's really realy cool! I love Owl City! The lead singer, Adam Young has insomnia so when he can't sleep he stays up and writes songs. His inspiration is disco music and European Electronic Music. They released Ocean Eyes in '09 , Of June in '07, and Maybe I'm Dreaming in 2008. Of June made #20 on the Billboard Electronic Albums and Maybe I'm Dreaming made #16. Their popular song which you're probably familiar with, "Fireflies" topped the US andd Canadian charts and made the most downloaded song on iTunes. If you heard "The Saltwater Room" and you're wondering who that lovely girl who sang the duet is, her name is Breanne Dūren. This band has Breanne Dūren as backup vocals and keyboard, Matthew Decker on the drums, Laura Musten on the violen, and Hannah Schroeder on the cello. They also have toured with Relient K singer, Matt Thiessen. You can hear him as a backup vocal for "Fireflies." On January 24, 2010, Owl City reached #1 in UK top 40 singles chart. "Fireflies" became a sleeper hit and topped Billboard Hot 100. They also released a song for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland titled "Almost Alice." Woww that's a LOT of accomplishments!! Great job!! And keep rocking!!...or popping...or techno-ing!!
